The Process

How We Build Backdrops That Last

Every backdrop we make starts with a conversation and ends with something that’s built to outlast the production it was made for.

Step 01

The Brief

You tell us what you need. That might be a detailed technical rider, a reference image, a pencil sketch on a napkin, or just a description of what the backdrop has to accomplish.

Our team asks the right questions regarding venue, lighting, and scale to ensure the stage is collaborative by design.

Step 02

Sketches & Design Approval

Before any paint touches fabric, our design team develops detailed pencil sketches and digital renders. We refine until the direction is locked.

This stage is non-negotiable for custom orders, providing a genuine preview of the finished piece.

Step 03

Painting

Approved sketches go to our painting floor, where master artisans work on premium cotton muslin or canvas using freehand and airbrush techniques.

Large-format drops over 30 feet are worked on custom floor frames for full-piece consistency under calibrated lighting.

QC, Treatment & Delivery

Every backdrop is inspected for color consistency and flame retardant treatment. We roll, never fold, for safe transit.

Our logistics team coordinates international freight to match your specific production schedule.
